Fair price for spray on bedliners?

Hi, I was interested in getting a spray in bedliner vs my stock plastic thing. I did a little research and the lowest I could find they wanted $450 in Vista, Cali. What did you guys pay and do you recommend these liners? I think they look very clean and they seem like they help prevent bed rust and such, true? Dustin

Yes, spray for sure. I'd go with Line-X. Prices vary depending on your location, which So. Cal would be more expensive. It's about ~$400 around here, so it's not that far off. See if they will give you 10% off.

I'm also looking to have this done soon, I want to replace the plastic bedliner the truck came with. And that price (~$400+) seems very close to what I've seen in my area also. From the little research I've done Line-X is slightly more expensive, but I believe it has a better warranty. Rhino Liner is also a popular choice.

I got mine Rhino lined about 2 years ago in AZ, before moving to Chicago. I think it was around $400. They had a $50 instore coupon, and I also had them spray over the side of the bed rail where the plastic liner rubbed the paint off (it costs extra).

Glad I did too, with the salt and snow her in IL and a plastic liner... I'm sure I it would have rusted my bed bad!!!

FYI... Rhino liner is a softer rubberized liner, whereas I think the Line-X is hard coat. My Rhino liner has scraped off in a few spots (I think because it is softer, not bad though, but I don't think it would have if it was a hard coat). But a hard coat dents and dings more, unlike the bomb proof Rhino lining, as I believe was proven on Mythbusters, or some such show.

yeah, good thinking, but i saw what my brothers looks like after he did it to his 79 Scout. He is a lot better at that kind of thing too. So it seems the verdict is around $400!!!! Thanks!

Is the durback stuff spray on or roll on? We are thinking of coating our project on underbody and passenger compartment as well. I just dont want it to look crappy other wise I would rather just spend the $400. I have used herculiner and it wasn't bad I just did not like the look compared to Line-x etc.
