cost on shipping a frame?

Is there any place to find out how much one would charge to ship a frame.

I found one on craigslist.com, but don't know if I should contact the seller if the shipping is too much.

Call UPS and ask for a freight quote, the number is on there website. You will need dimensions and weight.
Suggestion: Do a station to station shipment. Have frame owner drop off at a freight station and then pick it up instead of to a Residential delivery, it saves alot of money.

Forward Air is another option to try:
http://www.forwardair.com/

They only do depot to depot shipments, last time I used them it was in the 30-40 cents/lb cost range.
