Best way to drain a power steering pump.
Well my tired butt decided to put PS fluid into a pump that clearly states that I need to put ATF in it...... *sigh* So the question is can I just pull the hose off and let all the fluid run out and refill it with ATF? I didn't add much, maybe 2 ounces but I want it out of there before anything bad happens.
Also wondering if a Lucas additive would be a good idea in there once I refill it.
Thank you.... you may begin flaming now.....

I just use my vacuum brake bleeder to suck all the fluid out, but I think you should be fine, Subaru's use ATF for the PS system and with the flush kits the parts guy would give us PS fluid was used. I am just guessing here as I don't have Power steering on my truck

Power steering fluid and ATF are compatible. There shouldn't be any troubles with power steering fluid in there.I would wait untill it needed more, then just add ATF.
The seals won't be affected, but it may get a little warmer and softer.
Heck, stick a rag in it and get what you can, then refill with ATF if you're worried.
Not a big deal
