Autozone/O'reilly Radiator Warning
Just figured I'd post this up for people thinking of going with the cheap aluminum/plastic radiator from them. I had this happen to me this morning:
it cracked at the seam in the plastic. Not expecting much being that its just some cheap aluminum/plastic radiator, but i expected a little more than 18,151 miles out of it.
I already contacted Davez offroad about hooking me up with a 3 row all metal radiator. Im going to contact autozone about this one here in a sec.
Not saying this is the deal with all of their radiators. ( I drove for 4 hours straight last night, and temperatures got down into the low 30s last night. thats cold here in sacramento ) So the long drive and then instantly cooled probably had something to do with the stress cracking / seperation.
