Upgrading to 4.88 Gears Cost?
Hello!
I have a 1997 2WD 4Runner SR5 V6. Next month I will be getting a set of 33x12.5x15 tires. I will like to upgrade the rear end with 4.88 gears. Can anyone tell me, How much can this upgrade cost? I won't be installing any lockers since my truck is 2WD. Thanks!!

Check out eastcoastgearsupply.com. Hard to beat their prices if you can R&R your own 3rd member. If not, it's still cheap to have ecgs send you a 3rd with the ratio of your choice and then pay a shop for an hour or so to install it. 5 year P&L warrany too. After it's installed, you send them back your stock 3rd for a core $$$.
