To Supercharge or not to Supercharge

To Supercharge or not to Supercharge
I have a 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with stock 3.4L engine. Only engine mod I have made so far is to install a K&N Air Box. Was considering adding a TRD Supercharger and TRD or URD 7th Fuel Injector Kit. The other option would be to purchase a newer 2005-2007 4Runner with the 4.0 or 4.7L engine. My concern with adding the Supercharger and Injector Kit involves how much time is spent tweeking the system calibration settings. First of all, I have not done the research so I do not know all the parameters that are required to be set/adjusted. Secondly, I do not know how often or why one would have to change the settings more than once if you drive the vehicle in the same geographic area year round. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer to keep the older vehicle and only have to fork out around $4K to get the Supercharger installed versus trading it in and having to pay in excess of $15K for a newer model. Thanks for you comments and suggestions.

Thanks for the info on contacting Gadget with URD. However, my main concern/question is whether it would be better to keep my 1999 4Runner and add the TRD Surpercharger and a 7th Fuel Injector kit or purchase a 2005 or newer model to get the increase in HP and Torque without making the SC mods. Would I get better performance with the SC but incur some periodic tweeking of system calibration settings or would the newer model with a 4.0L or 4.7L engine giving me comparable performance and added convenience? Again, thanks for any recommendations/suggestions.
