strange grinding noise after hard hit
Hi Yotatech, this is my first post on here. I have a 91' toyo pickup. 4x4, manual, 3.0, ifs. About a month or so ago my truck took a hard hit on the passenger side front wheel. (slid into hillside at 30 miles per hour, icy road) and ever since, it has made a rather loud grinding noise coming from the front wheel wells. most of the time only on the drivers side but occasonally from passenger as well.
the only thing i could compare the noise to is when you go over those bumps on the side of the freeway. it has no pattern to when it does it, just as long as the truck is rolling at a decent speed. it slows down with wheel speed, 4x4 has no effect, i cant see ant rub points.
any thoughts? thanks
