straight axle question
i might get a straight axle for the front of my truck.
also im getting an axle for the back, to be equal in length..
and a 4 inch lift. all of this for $450. is this a good buy?
oh and the labor is around $700
so im looking at $1,150
what do u guys think?

I think you are missing just a few parts I am not sure what year you are doing this on but a lot more is involved than just buying some lift and a couple of used axles.

Yep it's a good buy if the parts are good & the work is professional.
Since you didn't ask if this was all you needed & simply inquired as to the mentioned parts/labor costs I will refrain from assuming you thought that was all you needed.

i have seen one tons under a 91 with hummer rims to make it only stick out 5" over stock. if you use normal offset wheels they get wider. it can be done but if you are going through the trouble of full width axles mught as well go !-ton because a toyota axle with longs is stronger than a D-44
