Dear Friends,

I have searched as much as I can, but can't find the answers to my questions. I love your trucks with the big wheels and tires, but will prolly not be rock crawling. I do not want to replace the wheels just now, but I would like to get bigger tires.

I have a 2000 Tacoma with auto and 2.7. The manual says the wheels are 15 x 7. There appear to be two other options for wheels in the manual. They are 15 x 7J and 15 x 7JJ.

My tires are 225/75R/15's. Does this mean I have the narrowest 15" wheels? Are the 15 x 7J and JJ wider wheels? The manual says the biggest tire for these rims is a 31 x 10.5 x 15.

I received no help with this question. I used the "newbie" because it seems the more experienced people get irritated with newbie questions. So, I went ahead and bought 15 x 8 rims and new 235 x 75R x 15 tires. The rims have an offset that the factory rims do not have. They scaped on the calipers, so I spaced them slightly using thick flat washers. For those of you newbies with the same quesiton, you can contact me.
