Popping coming from the front end
(85 4runner)
Only happens when I turn, I though it was the wheel bearings loose so I tightened them, still get the popping noise. btw, I just got back from a wheeling trip labor day weekend. I cleaned off/out the brakes real good fyi.
It's probably something stupid I over looked but I can't figure it out. Ideas?

Yeah, I've got to save up for tires for my daily driver first, then start saving for birfs. I might as well go ahead and rebuild the front axle while I'm at it, so another purchase is the knuckle rebuild kit.

Must not be the brifs because my hubs are ALWAYS REALLY unlocked while driving on the street. What else could it be then, knuckle bearings?
