ok I had to do this because you guys seem to know alot about these trucks! I have a 94 toyota pickup with the 22re in it! I bought it a few years back for 2500 bones with a blown engine! So I bought a used engine out of texas! YEAH BAD IDEA! The the truck is a FED truck! And when I got the used engine it was Cail emissions! So I put it in the truck as it came,( with everthing on it) I had no idea that they were differnent! So a few months ago that engine took a crap! So I did the right thing and bought new engine! And I put all the engine parts off of the used engine( cail emissions) onto the new engine again dident know there was a difference in the emissions stuff! So now Im trying to go back to FED emissions. I know I have to change all the vaccum lines and a few other thing! But I have a few questions on this topic. On a cail emissions engine there a few things that are different! Like the EGR gas temp sensor and the vsv check valve that is on top of the valve cover! The fed engine only had two vsv's and the cail engine has three! and the temp sensor for the egr plugs into my trucks wire harness along with one of the vsv's! So what do i do with these two extra wire harnesses? I did call toyota to make sure my truck was indeed a FED emissions truck! But they couldent tell me what to do as far as the extra two harnesses! Did all toyota trucks of this year come wired for Cail emissions? If so can I just put a resistor in these two wire looms? Thanks so much for help! Sorry it was so long
