I'm going to take a wild guess based on your vague description, but I'm assuming you're having a hard time threading the Autometer sending unit into your engine block.
Toyota uses a British Standard Pipe Thread, so you'll need one of these:

Any Autometer dealer should stock it or be able to get it for you. I got mine from a high performance shop.

yeah i found it from them i wanted to find it at a store i could walk in and grab so i can finish this job i want to go play hahha and no dealers within 100 miles from me but thanks man
