Hello all! I need help. I have a 93 toyota pickup 4WD. My roomate urged me to purchase an LC engineering 22re Stroker engine after my head gasket went out on the stock engine (271,000 miles!). Anyways I dropped a bunch of money on the new engine, cluch and headers. But my roomate who was sapposed to help me put it in has moved and now i am stuck. i haven't worked on vehicles to much but have a basic knowlage of things. If anyone has done an engine swap and has pictures and advice please post them. I want to put the engine in myself but i'm going to need some help along the way. Things i need help with... New cluch instalation... i've never put one in and don't know how to go about it. Also the instructions for the headers i purchased from LC say not to use any header wrap... Does anyone know why? And last if anyone has pictures of there 93 pickup engine so i can see where all the vaccum lines go that would be awesome!

heat is bad - why would you wrap your headers and keep all that heat in??? mark all hoses before pulling your engine you'll be ok

yaeh take lots of pictures.. its pretty straight fordward to take out a 22re.. motor mounts undone there is 12 bolts around the engine and tranny.. 2 of them coming from engine back into tranny...
just pull engine and so the clutch and everything while its out.. yuo will have a amazing engine and truck when you are done and will have learn alot...
before summer i did my clutch on my 22re... never did more than brakes before and yotatech got me through it!!!
