i think I made a boo boo: EFI Vacuum lines?
Im new to this idea of forms and such things so ill just start with my problem.
I think i might have gotten in over my head this time. Im no stranger to Mopar power and big carbed V8s. But the idea of efi confuses me so i often have to pick someone elses brain for the answers i need. Like this one. I bought a head gasket for my 87 yota 22re 4x4. i removed some of the vacuum lines and the rotor, and the valuve cover when i realized, i dont have all of my tools with me. figuring it was no big deal i started to put things back together. now im questioning if i put the vacuum lines in the right places and what else i may have done wrong cause it wont start. Turns over, but wont fire up. Anyone got any ideas or solutions?
< that thing is sweet. lol.

Thanks for the tip. it took a lot of keystrokes but i managed to find one diagram that resembled it enough to accurately reconnect the vacuum lines. Now for the second part. SHE WONT FIRE. turns over. but wont fire up. any answers would be appreciated.

Actually i was thinking the same thing. It cranks over and its trying to fire, but it just wont start up. Im going to try to set the 1st piston to TDC on compress and retard the distributor back one tooth. Thanks for the input. Any more is still greatly appreciated. Especially any tips or tricks to cheaply mod the engine.

Make sure you put the correct wire to the right pt. on the dist. if you get them out of order that would cause starting issues. And it's very easy to goof up too... IK.
