5" front leafs what size shocks and hoops?
I need to order my hoops and shock for a ext.cab 85 yota with 5" tg springs. should i get 14" shocks and hoops or 12" shocks and hoops?
ive searched and found mixed reviews. i know it kinda matters on each persons preference. but alot this stuff is basic tg hysteer tg springs 2" body lift.
im thinking 14" any input is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Measure at full stuff and full droop. Get shocks that have that much travel to them.
And this is a good read:

Measure from a static point such as your frame to the top of your leafs. Find out how much travel you have, then order hoops and shocks based on your findings

maybe trail gears are one size others are two different sizes. i never thought it would be this hard to mount some shocks lol

Hey man you mind me asking you to take a measurement for me? I am really interested in the height of the spring. Like if you were to set the spring on the ground upside down, how tall are they? If you get a chance it would be sweet as i will need new springs soon. The TG site measures along the radius of the spring and that doesnt help me with my calculations at all.
If the springs are mounted already and the truck is sitting on it that would be fine too for a measurement.
Please let me know!
