Go 4.88's. you will be a lot happier with it like that.
I have a rear 4,88 factory third i could sell you then all you would have to do is get the front regeared...

Heck, wait til about Oct. and have ole ZUK here do a solid install I would favor a Nitro Gear....or US GEAR.....and that's about it in the Yota application.
I think the clutch will last much longer with lower gears in general....but I think you might be disappointed in mpg gains....the big tires sure don't help. Expect 18 on average....this is around town and in the back country.

Ya, like skunk says, go the gusto and do 488....or even 529 if you think you might upgrade to 35 inch tires later. Going to 456 is only a 10% change from the stoch 410 if that's what you have.....too much money to spend on 10%.

the LSD would stay the same. I'd recommend 5.29. It may seem low for the 3.slow, but I've done many that way and they work well. 4.88 would work, but you gotta rememer. Even Mr T used 4.88 from the factory on 94-95 4runners w/ 31's and AT. With 33's 5.29 fit the bill IMHO. Good luck, and Zuk's recommendations are great!
