Side-view mirror removal

Someone clipped my driver's side mirror yesterday and snapped it right off. I've got a new one on the way and was wondering if anyone had any directions for removing the interior door panels so I can access the nuts to remove mirror. Thanks in advance.

remove the window switch panel first. on the window switch panel, one side is a clip, the other side hooks in. use a pocket flathead screw driver and gently pry up on one end, if it does not move, do not force it or you will break the hooking side. then pry up on the other end.

there should be a phillips screw visible when you remove the window switch panel. remove this screw. look all around the door panel for any other visible screws or screw covers or screw holes. remove these too.

the only thing holding on the doorpanel at this point are little white clips. with a quick firm pull, pull the door panel off.
goodluck.
