Front Suspension Creak
Hey all- At my wit's end ... installed Total Chaos UCAs, OME struts and some custom springs in my front end two weeks ago. I have had a horrendous creak ever since. For the first week I just thought it was a new suspension, it would work out. But if anything, the creak has gotten worse. I ripped it all back out last weekend and put some nylon spacers between the metal-metal contact where the UCA bolts connect to the, uh, wheel thingie, no help. I have been yanking and tugging and listening to where the sound originates, and the best I can tell, it comes _from the springs themselves_!
Any ideas? Thanx

maybe you have a bolt loose or missing on one of the skid plates under there. i know it's a shot in the dark, but worth a look. i had a similiar thing happen. finally realized a bolt was actually missing from one skid. wierd thing was, it sounded like it was coming from the suspension.

Found the source of the problem. This kit was from the first rev of these UCAs. Total Chaos says the first rev had issues with the teflon coating in the race and that it will eventually wear itself in, just Tri-Flow the hell out of the uniballs until it does so.
