Not for a good while. I love the look of them stock. The most I'll do is put on some beefier tires (MTZ's or ATZ's) and leave them the stock size. I have been thinking about sliders, just because they look so freaking cool and they are still functional...
Thanks for the comps man, I just checked out your thread...nice work!

Lots of shifting in stop and go traffic..I test drive both when I bought '05. I liked the 6 speed but ended up getting the auto. 26K on the clock and love it, besides the auto was a condition of my accountant (aka: the missus) letting me get the truck.

Looking good...
My thoughts on break in... drive it normal, except what is stated in the owners manual, towing and constant speeds mainly. This is more for the drivetrain other than the motor, thou the constant speed thing is motor based. It really is a miniamal break-in with modern technology, but follow what little it is.
As far as oil. I like a change at 500-1000 miles, agian 1000-1500 miles later, then split the difference to 10K in thirds change there and at 10K assume your own protocal.. wether that be toyota spec, 3K miles, or like me annually with Amsoil.

I just had mine changed at 1300 asked what the charge for synthetic at the dealer would be they told me $11 a quart. No thank you on that. When I change next time I will do it myself and use Synthetic. Truck looks good but like mine they put the worst tires on for anything except Highway driving, they even suck at that though. as you get the miles on it only gets better. at 1800 brought truck up as high as it would go before shifting the power really gets good over 4,000 RPM's.

I'm thinking I'll do mine at 500, 1000 and 1500. I'd rather do it too much and know that it was over-done than not do it enough. I do mine every 3500 miles anyway so doing it more often than necessary won't be anything new to me.
I've been giving it slightly more gas every time I take it out and MAN, this 4.0L really hauls!! I love it!

That does seem really high.
I'll just be using whatever Toyota recommends. They'll be the ones doing all the work to my truck anyway. I just hit 200 miles on the way into work this morning!! I haven't been able to get it up to 3k on the tach...it just scares me for some reason, haha.
I'm slowly getting a little more aggressive with it. I'm trying to keep my speeds in a range between 62-75 on the highway to stay away from a constant speed. The people driving behind me get annoyed sometimes but that's always fun to watch.
Thanks guys, post up with some more tips on break-in if you'd like.
