Brake Booster Assembly P/N Help
I need to replace the brake booster assembly (with master cylinder and ABS module accumulator ETC)
The general spec for my 2007 4Runner calls for p/n 47050-35031, but using the VIN, I should use 47050-35030 Which is $1200 more expensive on an already expensive part! I'm assuming that sometime during the 07 model year they switched to the newer, cheaper -35031 part.
Can I use the -35031 part in my 4Runner? Looking at the diagrams online, the reservoir shape *looks* like the one from 35031 and not 35030 (ie it has the pin in the front). . . . . *confused*

I am not sure on this part but I would not just go by what the diagram looks like. Sometimes one drawing is representative of all variations of a certain part.
I know your confusion though. I was recently looking at an A/C vacuum switching valve for my truck, one was $30, another was $240, both of which are supposed to fit my truck and both had the exact same description.
Either way, that part is expensive!!
Edit: I see you are in Canada so the price isn't quite as bad..... but still expensive!
