2005 Tacoma lifted, finally...

I am going to put this in here instead of the off-road forum so that we get some more information in this forum, plus it probably won't interest too many non 05+ owners.

Here are some pictures of my truck, I have slowly been gathering parts over the last year + time as good deals came along. I finally decided that 40k+ miles on the stock tires was enough and put everything on last weekend.

Congrats. Looks good, although I'd ease up on the tire dressing How's the rubbing with those 295's?

It is actually spray on tire/wheel cleaner. It does go on too thick though, I am going to scrub them with some traditional tire cleaner that should get rid of all the gloss but leave them black, at least that is what I have done in the past.

The rubbing isn't bad, the backspacing of the Tundra wheels really does a lot to help with that. I trimmed the edge/corner of the flare below the last mudflap mounting bolt hole and it barely makes contact with the body mount when the wheels are turned and the suspension is compressed, I could get rid of it by grinding down the weld but I will probably end up trimming the body mount at some point, until then I won't worry about it.

I ran big (for their size) 285/75/16's (Interco TRXUS m/t's) on my 3rd gen 4runner and these tires are A LOT bigger.
