Vibration in rear end 87 runner
When i cruise down the highway at about 65-75 mph,
I get a Vibration in the rear end when i let off the gas but if i keep a load on it the vibration go's away.
I have check the driveshaft u-joints (all good)
New wheelbearings
Any thoughts what it could be ? Rear end going out ?

my brother in-law had an 1986 p/u with the same problem, and my 87 runner is doing the same thing. He fixed his by replacing the plastic shims in rear u-joint. we haven't fixed mine yet so i'm not real sure what exactlly it requires. but i'll try and get some more info on it and post it up.

Sounds exactly like what my u-joint did when it was going out on the rear d-shaft...the one up by the t-case. It looked fine on visual but upon taking it apart it was definitely the culprit.

My bet would be the u-joint also. Unless you take the driveshaft out of the vehicle and inspect it with out any binding or load from the other parts of the drivetrain, you can't really get a good inspection.
