Went to the M.O.R.E. (Mettowee) park in Whitehall NY today, 3ish hour drive for me each way. Anyone close to that? It was pretty sick, lots of good trails there.

I live in New York City. My girlfriend had a house in Burlington VT and we had to drive through whitehall every time we wanted to get there from the throughway. My parents have a house in Slate Hill in Orange County as well.

My '92 spent the first 12 years of it's life up near Cooperstown, original owner kept it up there at his second (hunting/fishing) house. It's in surprisingly good shape for being driven in all the salt you guys have up there, probably because it's didn't get driven all that much. The frame and body are in great shape, but the rear diff is in rough shape.
Original owner sold it to an NYPD detective in Breezy Point, Queens, so it may have seen some salt water over there also. I bought it off him in '08 and have it out on LI now. I bought it with 96K on it, has 104K now. Other than the rear diff it's in great shape.
Here's a pic of it, I don't have any pics of the diff.

That is clean for an east coast truck. When I found my 90 in Providence a while back with 95K original miles and a clean frame with no rust I jumped on it. Your paint is much nicer than mine though

Yeah it's been painted, crappily I might add, at some point. The whole driver side was painted, the pass front 1/4 panel but the pass door and bed are original, it's all discolored and mixed and matched. I'll get it painted one of these days.
Still would like to know what the hell happened to my rear diff. That and the backing plates for the drum brakes are really bad. I think gear oil is leaking through the diff housing it's so rusted. I think at some point the thing was dipped into saltwater, at a ramp, possibly a few times and never washed off. If it was road salt the frame would be shot by now.
