U Joint Removal HELP!
How the heck do your get the caps off the old u-joint? The stock ones are so long that I can't seem to press them all the way out. At least I can't get them pressed out enough to where I can take them off with a pair of pliers. Do they have to be cut off?

Ok. Got it off with cutting wheel. Installed the new one and noticed that the flange side was stiffer than the yoke side. Drove it 10+ miles and all seemed well. Then climbed under to look. The flange side was noticably hotter. Not so hot you couldn't touch it, but more than warm. The yoke side was just warm. So is this normal and does it just need to seat, or did I bend the flange in the removal process and am I just waiting for a problem?
So where can one find a flange? There are no junkyards near me. Is this something available at Napa, or the dealer?
