Trying to obtail CARB certification?
Ugh. Tried to get my new truck, a 1994 22re, smogged.
Didn't pass visual because of the aftermarket headers and no CARB stamp or approval or whatever. PO told me they were Downey headers, and I searched on the ARB website (EO: D-165-7) that they are indeed certified.
However, there looks to be no stamps of manufacturing or anything?
What the heck do I do? I really don't want to go and cut them off and install a new manifod... This truck is driving me fing crazy. :b ang::ban g:

having no carb stamp or manufacture stamp is a huge problem... doug thorleys come with both... take a print out of the certification and show it to the smogger?

I have a Downey header on my 86 4Runner, there is no tags or numbers on the header it self, but it comes with a sticker that goes under the hood. The stickers say`s CARB E.O. # D-165-11. And below it there was a list of years it covered.
