If you have your owner's manual, look in the index for "oil consumption" there is about a whole page that explains it and why you may not see it during city driving but will notice it more during highway driving. I will scan it and post it later for those that don't have it.

That's true about the highway driving, when I drove across country last summer I was going oil through much, much faster than in my usual around town driving.

Keith, You already have it together, If its not bellowing smoke from the exhaust and theres no (Huge) spots on the floor, Your alright then.

Well,Keith, I was using about 1 qt per 1500 miles around town and when I drove across country I was going through about a quart every 300 miles

I think my headgasket was starting to go at the time and maybe it was burning it and also my valve covers were leaking and I think either my rear main or oil cooler. Plus I was driving across Texas and Tennessee and it was really hot out
