More frustration when your post for help does not work. I am trying to replace the bushings on my 86 4runner. I have OME poly bushings and OEM rubber bushings and cant get either to fit using the sleeves like the bushings Im taking off do. the bushings Im removing are poly but I don't know the brand. any ideas how to get these to work ? the OME will fit in large sleeve but small sleeve does not work and OEM small sleeve fits but wont go into large sleeve

If using poly (energy susp)the only sleeves used are the inner ones. Grease bushings, insert bushings into leaf spring ends, grease inner sleeve and press into bushings. If I remember correctly the bushing for the shackle(the one that is attached to the frame) uses neither an inner or outer sleeve. So with poly bushings you should have 8 pieces per side. 2 inner sleeves and 6 bushing pieces.
The ones you have shown in your picture appear to be energy susp frame shackle bushings not the leaf spring bushings . Those do no use either an inner or outer shell
OEM style rubber bushings should have outer/inner sleeve already in place on the bushing. These are pressed in. Dont recall the frame shackle bushing having either an inner or outer shell.
