Radator what is right
Ok, so after almost a year of having my 93 Toy I have had my first problem. My radator got a crack in the top of it. I called a guy that I knew had a lot of parts. He had one he said came from either an 86 or 87 that was almost brand new had in his truck for about 200 miles. So I bought it today an when to install this one in my truck. It slide down in place with just one problem the metal tap for the shroud hit on my streeing box keeping it from going down to line uo with the holes by about 1/8 of an inch.So I used my derml and removed some of the metal from the radator.
My old radator had the fill cap in the middle and was marked GM on it. The new one has the fill neck on the right hand side as you look at it in the truck. All the bolts when back in with no problems. But I found that the lower radator hoses does not line up like the old one did it is about 9 inches long with 2 90 degree about 3 inches apart with each turning a different angels. For the radator it is a distance of about 9 inches but would need 2 bends also but almost on the same path (plan). Can someone tell me which radator is right or post a pic of what your radator look like and a pic of the lower hose. Thanks

1st of all, are you a 4 or 6 cyl?
this pic is of the SPECTRA radiator for my 22re. got it from JcWhitney for a better price than Auto-Zone about 4 years ago and it's still fine despite running the extreme ranges of temps here in Pa.
