o2 sensor

Hey folks, question for me today is wether or not to change my o2 sensor.I drive an 89 22re with 231k miles and have never replace my sensor.I am currently getting about 21 mpg.I am all about preventive maintenance but from what I have read 21mpg is a good number.Opinions please

The general rule would be that if it's not throwing codes, and you're getting that good gas mileage, why change it? "if it ain't broke....." You know the rest Unless you just want to do it for preventative maintenance...it certainly couldn't hurt.

you're getting pretty darn good mpg. Check for any codes in the ECU but I wouldn't bother changing it out.
