Really? This hole looks like its not round to stop the pin from exiting. The ring sides hole is perfectly round. Thats y i was hitting it out towards the ring side.

The edge of the hole on the non-ring side is staked to keep the pin from coming out. That's why it doesn't look round. So, first you need to clean up the staking, and then drive it out from the ring gear side. Usually the staking won't prevent it from being driven out; it's just meant to keep it from falling out on its own.

Check the sticky at the top of this forum for the '93 factory service manual, and drill down to "suspension and axle/rear/differentia"l. Diffs haven't changed between '88 and '93, so the info is all good.

OMG. All the write ups and instructions I read said nothing about that being staked. Wow, that pisses me off. Wasted so much time and once I realized this I got it out in seconds. Grrrr...

You're welcome. Glad it finally worked out. That's why we have this forum.
BTW, make sure you stake it again when you put it back together. Wouldn't want the pin falling out on it's own.

Ya I did. Not as well because some of it splintered off from all the abuse I did to it. But it should stay in there. Glad thats over with tho. On to the next frustration!
