LOL That's the first thing I thought too- whale penis. I saw whales mating (sea mammals, not Floridians) once at an aquarium and that's pretty much exactly what it looked like.

It was pretty because the dolphin in the tank was head butting the thing and just generally making as arse out of itself... sort of like the room mate who keeps cracking jokes until you lock them out of the house.
