Hey what did you do to make that cubby under your stereo?
When I put in my new Kenwood deck, I had this huge gap under my stereo, and that little cubby would be really cool...

those come stock i thought, every 1st and 2nd gen i;ve seen has em.
but you can also get the same "cubby" out of a late 80's early 90's corolla, camry, etc...
they are almost universal fit, same size as a cd deck

oh and BTW, nice job on the sew job grammy! looks good!

well rusche i wish i could help you buta my truck didnt come with the dubble din radio it had a stock single din so thats where i got it from atlest i think cause thats the way i got it from the po i'd try looking in junk yards at the pick-ups and some of the runners that came with the single din and get the radio bezzle ill see if my donor truck has that pocket if so then its yours buddy

and as you can see in the pictures i had to cut the plastic to get my din and a half to fit! lol

nice Allan, though I think a cleaning of your truck would make it look a thousand times better... I like the neon green, it looks very nice in contrast to the black, and I think the shift knob idea is a great one! I may actually look into that myself haha

and as for the cubby, yeah, thats factory on single deck units. VERY common and easy to find, just check your local scrap yard, surely they will have one.

yeah and when i get around to making my shoft top it will have the same colors on it too. thats why i got a small peice so i could try out the stuff and i like it!!!!

p.s. yes its marine fabric lol
