Hi guys. I have a problem with my new tranny...well, the tranny works great but when I drive my 4runner, it takes a while to shift gears and when it does, it kick in very hard..I checked the gluid level and it seem ok...I put 6 quarts of tranny fluid when I was done putting the tranny in...any suggestion on what to check? Thank you

I drove a Ford one time that had that problem... I think they found that the pick-up screen and some of the fluid galleries were sludged up from old dirty tranny fluid.
I'm not at all familiar with yota auto boxes though so the same issues might not apply.
