Stock + brace all the way. When I go LT I will buy a Total chaos idler arm!

I picked up a used stock one off ebay for like $10 once, that's something to think about

So after bashing my stock idler on a rock and getting some nice (but unwanted) toe-in I replaced it with a Napa unit: ATM1032403

Everything was grand, haven't even gone wheeling, but now the 33's have taken their toll on this one as well. I've searched and searched but can't find anyone (legit) selling an Idler Arm Brace. The downy one isn't available. I'm not interested in a TC (don't have that kinda money) and since the Napa one has a 12k/12M warranty I can just keep replacing it.

Now this is my question, who has stepped in to fill Downey's shoes on the idler arm brace/truss?

No one answered when I called on Thursday, they're closed till Monday and they have no prices or anything online... I work in parts and have for years and this is very frustrating to not be able to find something that I want to buy and is obviously made somewhere!!

I have the downey one and haven't been impressed. Its helped some, but not enough.

I'm building my own.

First shelf on moody? You mean in the quarry? Or the rock that is on the uphill portion towards the beginning of the road?

Yeah, my downey one still lets the bushings get worn out.

This is, by far, the beefiest design I have seen. Support above and below the pivot point. I wonder how the bushings in this design do over time.

Not the quarry, we never made it that far, too much snow I guess, kept pitching the truck sideways. Backing down that trail in the snow was not fun at all.

Side note, got a hold of the folks at Southwest and the braces are $67.95 but they're out of them until mid January.
