Your screen name is pretty fitting for this situation haha...can't decide.
$15k...woo...piles up quick huh. You know, even though I don't live anywhere close to home, and only see my folks a few times a year, I still dread seeing my dad and hearing him say, "You spent how much on this truck? Jesus Christ boy!" Lol....

T-1000 heres a price quote I got from so cal supertrucks
Hey John,
The price of the Gen II suspension by itself is $1768.90 (the same as the internet price). The shock hoop kit runs $237.50 (also at the internet discount). The Fox 2.5 coil-overs are $495.00 each and the king 18" 2.5" 600lb coil springs are $138.46 each. With labor at $600.00 and the alignment at $100.00 the total with tax comes to $4235.19 out the door, assuming all of your steering components are in good shape. I hope this works for you, feel free to call me if you have any other questions about the above information. If you're getting cheaper quotes at other stores, let me know what the differences are so I can take a look at what we can do for you.
This should be everything you need for the front suspension except the T100 axles. those should be around $200.00. I did talk to total chaos today about there gen 1 kit. they have all finished the baja 100 with the gen 1 ball joint kit, itll save you some cash but not as cool as coilover!!

I've read some good stuff about ESB, but I thought they went out of business. Maybe I'm thinking of another company.
I'll be looking at the JD Fab kit when I decide to start my LT. I like the idea of being able to build in steps because buying parts is going to be a long drawn out process for me.
Though, If I can get the ESB arms with torsion bar mounts I'd go with them because of the price difference. $700 would pretty much cover a set of coil-overs.
I wonder if ESB would make a set of UCA that are stock length that would allow a coil-over to fit the stock arms? That would actually be a better option for me considering the most "pre-running" I do is up down the National Seashore which nothing compared to the deserts of so-cal.

hey Norcal, how did your friend feel about the stock steering before he got the upgrades? I think this is why I like the Downey kit its fairly simple and a stand alone kit. It doesnt seem to radcal, but gets the job done. (Similar to the toyota philosophy!)
