Just picked up 94 4x4 how to tell if head gasket was replaced and clutch pedal sticks
I just picked up a 94 4x4 3.0 with 220k miles and i am trying to tell if head gasket has been replaced. The previous owner said the motor was replaced by Toyota 60k miles ago for the recall is there any way to verify that? Other than throwing on some All pro cv boots stocks are gone I'm trying to figure out why my dang clutch pedal is sticking. Clitch is engaging fine so not sure if clutch is bad or what. I am taking a look at the spring and the clutch master cylinder was replaced about a year ago.
Thanks
Jason
Thanks
Jason

Replaced can mean a number of things in different people eyes. Rebuilt? or literally replaced with a new or used engine? I would take the VIN number to the dealership that he/she claims replaced it and have them tell you what was done to it. Could have just been the head gaskets changed. Could have been the entire engine replaced/
