I hear tell that you can just cut the hinge pins on the original door hinges to make a "quick release" hinge. Can anyone provide any more detail?

yea i just did it with mine, as described a few posts up about the 5/16's quick release, it wont go through all the way becuase it hits one of the bolts that hold the hinge on the door side. I just grinded off some of the head of the nut, and works ok so far. just hope i dont get pulled over. if i did, what kinda ticket could i get?

I'm thinking prolly just a fix it ticket. But it would be interesting to see how you'd explain it to the judge....."Well, ya see your honor, it's called a half door mod, and what that means....."
