My wifes sister......we are living at the mother in laws at the moment trying to save for a house, so she's always out helping me in the garage.

I honestly don't do much serous wheeling in it.....it's not all show no go, but is almost there LOL......After doing this to my last 4runner on the trails, I tend to just use this one on easier tracks, mud, beach driving, and camping, oh, and for towing my zook to the offroad parks.

I will try and get some video up some time, so you can all here how sweet the lexus V8 sounds!!

I do compete in hill climbs now and then but, which is a load of fun, and I've done quite well since putting in the V8 with a 1st place, and a 2nd place.
Heres a pic of last years one....

And I've got my zook, which I use for the fun wheeling, it's so good not having to worry about panel damge, or breakages. It's currently getting rebuilt with 37 Iroks and 16" airshox. Can't wait till its finished.

zook...... must be an aussie thing kind of like roo bar vs. bull bar. We call 'em samis here, but I like zook too. How in the heck did you do that too the runner on top, and pics of the aciident, I'm guessing you flipped it, but it looks almost like it when front first? Ohhh, and I like the Toy emblem on the front of the sami.

I love the lift, and wish more people would do it, except then it would not be as unique. Catch 22. Kudos to you!

LOL, must be, they are called sierra's over here, but everyone just calls them zooks.

As for my old 4runner, was coming down a steep rutted decent, at night, after it had rained....the front left tyre dropped into a big hole, and at the same time the rear slipped around starting the roll. It rolled 2 and half times, and then hit a tree on the passenger side front door, which made it land back on its wheels, still running.

Nah, they are aftermarket TJM Flares. They are about $500 for a set of 4 in Oz.

I'd like some like this....but they would cost more than $2000 by the time I get them to Australia, but will cover a 35 on a 15x12 rim

I stumbled across a Nowegian 4Runner/Hilux Club Forum....A heap of those guys are running these flares on awesome trucks!! Even though you can't read most of what they are saying, its worth checking there forum out for all the awesome pics!!!

Most seem to be able to read english, and are a nice bunch of guys and very helpful. Heres a link to a thread I started on there forum about there cool flares. There is some links in there for the companys that make the flares.
