Idling REALLY high when cold.
I feel stupid asking this, but ive searched and cant really find what im looking for.
when i start my truck in the morning the 91 in my sig(usually around 30 degrees)
My truck idles at like 3k rpms sometimes higher. but once it warms up it idles fine. i know 22res are supposed to have a "warm up idle" but to my understanding its supposed to be 1500ish. My truck is rather loud being straight piped and my neighbors are getting tired of hearing it at 630 in the morning.
So my question is, can i make it idle normal at start up by taking out like a cold start sensor? Ive tried cleaning the throttle body. And adjusting the idle.
I just dont understand!?
Pictures and any input is much appreciated.

Hehe, I thought i annoyed my neighbors with mine. It idles at 1500-2000 on cold mornings. One thing i had to do when i changed my TB was adjust that allen set screw and nut next to the vaccuum diafram thing. Its what stops the TB plate from closing all the way. I would also clean your IACV.

You said it idles fine once it's warm. What RPM is it idling at when warm?
