mt_goat.........thanks for chiming in and I appreciate it...
I did get the correct mount......http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/pro...ype=38&PTSet=A..... however I didn't take the rear drive shaft off when I dropped the tranny cross member.
should I have dropped the rear drive shaft? then removed the cross member?.....I can tell you this that the cross member was much easier to remove than it was to install!...
I just thought the rear drive shaft was not in the way so I left it attached.....now for the front propeller shaft I haven't removed it yet to install the bottom 14mm bolt so I'm going out to do that in a few minutes....

I wouldn't think it would matter for changing out the rear tranny mount.

Maybe its because you got an aftermarket mount. I've never put on anything but an OEM mount.

Dale.....thanks for taking the time to stay with this post........and your correct about using after market parts i should have used a OEM part ....LESSON LEARNED!

I still have a problem with my tranny woul you be so kind to read this thread and give me some feed back on my transmission problem
