we have the same cheap<?> wheel spacers in the uk, have had a few of them break on the trail. only ones seem to be worth using are billet made. there are cast aluminium ones out there, but dont really think they are worth it

i ran the 1/4 wheel spacers for about a year, and even wheeled with them, i had no problems, no issues at all..

Wheel spacers will lead to rubbing when you turn the wheels because it widens the arc,,, also note that manufacturers don't recommend spacers for daily driven rigs, due to the possibility of lugs comming loose and tires falling off

CanTheWhales is right about the daily driver thing, and I was a little nervous at first, but I decided to use medium threadlocker on the nuts holding the spacer to the hub, torque it properly, and then torque the lug nuts holding the rim to the spacer properly as well. I hope this helps a little, but I would definitely keep a closer eye on your wheels! I'll look tonight for that vendor's name if you still want it.

I'm not sure this is what you meant, but I will say, you run a greater chance of rubbin' your fender, stickin' your tires out there further than they sposed to be.

my 16 inch rims are lx 450 rims i am only trying to get a 32/11.5 inch tire with out rubbing at droop...i rellay like the rims and dont want to have to purchase new ones.....now on the 15 in taco rims that i have 31/10.5 and at droop the upper a-arm is right next to the tire and i am sure it will rub on the letters of the tires...i am looking at a pratical solution since i just had to do a timing belt, water pump idlers and also had to do a clutch, pressure plate, and so forth so my money situtation is not so good right now

You should be fine with 32's, remember that with the 32's, the bulge of the tire should be up .5" compared to the 31's. So when you look at it now with 31's, just imagine that with 32's the widest part should be .5" higher, and you should be able to tell if you are going to have a problem.

Just to make this clear, the 1/4" spacers that are talked about here and the 1.5" spacers like marlins and other are completely different animals and shouldn't be compared at all. The 1/4" spacers are ones that slip over your lugs and get sandwiched between the rim and your hub. They work fine as long as you have enough threads. The 1.5" spacers are torqued onto your lugs and then your rims are torqued onto the lugs on the spacers themselves. Completely different and have different pros and cons.

i know they are different...I was just looking at them thinking they would be better my buddy ran some very similar on a 600 hp camaro on all 4 wheels with out any problems and he raced it pretty hard...

thanks for the info. i was looking at the ones that bolt to your hubs, then bolt your rims to. maybe i'll stick to the sandwich type...
