Fuel pressure testers - What do you guys have?

For those of you that have tested their fuel pressure, where did you get your testers from? I noticed that Harbor freight has one but I'm not sure if it would work for our trucks.

There's one listed in sears that I'm sure would work on our trucks as it has but I'm reluctant to shell out 50 or so for something I'll rarely use

I use a sender from an oil pressure gauge. I put it on the end of the fuel rail, tapped the rail 1/8 NPT. Fed it to the cab, switch between oil and fuel pressure.

Got any pics? That's a great idea!
I tried the one at HF...pffft! Worked for sh$t! Not only did it leak, it wouldn't read the pressure...at all!

I did the same, except with a fuel pressure sender and gauge from Summit Racing. Tapped end of fuel rail for 1/8" NPT, soldered in a brass street elbow and screwed the sender into that. No pics as it is impossible to see with the engine assembled. Gauge installed in the cab:

I was just reading a thread by "just learning" who did that. Like the set up! I suppose no visibility issues? Did you just run the wires up through the pillar/body...or are they under the plastic trim?

Read the web page writeup that is linked to in my earlier post. It will answer all your questions.

I can't take credit for it.. It's a 4Crawler original - he gave me the idea.
Here are photos of the install:

The sending unit setup. The fuel rail is tapped 1/8th NPT.. You can send yours to me on exchange and I'd do 'em for a small fee. They can be capped with a $.50 plug if you don't want to run a guage or sender.

In cab display.. In retrospect, I wish I had gone with the 3 gauge pod, as I need room for an EGT gauge now. Top gauge is boost. Bottom gauge is fuel/oil pressure. It's interesting that my fuel pressure reading (digital) is much more static than my oil pressure... 4crawler, is that how yours works also?

Only difference is I tapped the rear cap on mine, and my sender is mounted facing downwards, thus the 90 degree elbow.
