You don't HAVE to go to the dealership to get it. Any auto parts store should have it. I prefer to use Toyota parts when I can...but if you need it in a pinch and the dealership doesn't have it, then an autoparts store like Napa or Advance typically carries them in stock.

That is the oil pressure sender. You don't need to replace it unless it's bad or the threads are stripped. Otherwise, use some plumber's pipe joint compound. Much cheaper than a new sender and will stop the leak. Just put a solid, light coat on the threads and tighten the bugger down with a 24mm deep well socket until it's good and snug.

On that side of the motor.... particularly since it's "higher up", the only other place would be the oil filter since it's located right above the sender. If the gasket wasn't oiled before you installed it, the gasket could twist and dislodge from the seat...or even tear...and not make a good seal. And, maybe it just wasn't on tight enough.???

Its not leaking out of the filter, im 100% sure of that, its definately leaking from somewhere on the sender. Ill get a pic in the morning though if that helps. The oil filter i have is a brand new filter and i put oil on the seal so its sitting perfect with no leakage.
