head gasket thickness ?

anyone have the thickness measurement on a factory toyota head gasket ?

Don't know about OEM, but maybe this can give you a direction. A standard MLS head gasket for the 22RE, 3VZ and the 5VZ is .040" thick. It has to be at least close...

Literally just picked up my Toyota gasket set today.

Just measured it .060" thick. Looks like the OEM toyota gasket is thicker then the MLS

So what's that in mm then?

1.524mm = .0600000324"

Which is close enough for engine work.

But what if you wanted to be even more accurate than that?

1.52399918mm = 0.060000000116518"
