Final 5 speed swap questions 22re

I got my pedal assembly and there is a sensor/switch where the clutch pedal goes and it got me to thinking....will this thing have to be wired into my truck for any reason or is it just there for the clutch/start/cancel button thing? I have no plans of getting that button so can I remove the sensor? Also does anyone have pics of the two wires that need to be jumped for the nuetral/park switch so this beast will start? This is an 86 4Runner with a 22re recieving a 5 speed out of an 84 4Runner. I have everything I need but the clutch at this point (I hope).

the clutch switch can either be used, or taken off.

You will need to connect the two ground wires on your neutral/park switch(they are the two big wires side by side) if you want to use the clutch switch, you will have to run the two ground wires from the neutral/park switch to the clutch switch. The choice is up to you, the clutch switch is just personal preference

Just remember to disengage the clutch before you start! That's always so much fun in cramped parking.

that clutch switch does the same thing as the auto park or neutral safety switch- supposed to keep you from starting the truck with the trans in gear.
