What products did you use on that for cleaner and stain? It seems to have come much cleaner than mine did. I never got a tanned leather look(the well, tan colored bits) mine might be faux instead of composite. Anyone know if they switched to vinyl on 2nd gen?

I have my eye out for anything that looks and feels better (thicker) than what I have now. I’m really only looking to swap because mine is barely worth reattaching once I fix the horn and turn sig problems. So I want as simple of a swap as possible. Something too bling won’t look right in a bone stock pickup.

Very good resto on that wheel, but mine isn't worth a resto. Hence my swap questions. How much of the alcohol went on to the wheel

I have no idea if it would fit, but I really enjoyed the steering wheel in my mom's '05 Rav4

They look decent enough when I searched them, but I also found they are part of the Tanaka air bag recall - so not so much.
Hope you mom's was fixed.

That said, im having a tough time adjusting from a nice leather clad comfy silverado to the base truck Yota.

I FRIGGIN hate a small plastic steering wheel!!! Might be fine for little Jap hands, but not my oversize paws.

I dont want a GT steering wheel. What I would like to find is a NON airbag leather factory steering wheel. At the very least, a fake leather/pleather non airbag factory wheel with a larger grip surface.

I never followed Yotas to date so I am unsure if there is a non airbag steering wheel available, maybe in a Limited 4 Runner, T-100 etc.....Obviously the steering wheel splines must be the same diameter and count.

Before I pull whats left of my hair out searching this out, maybe one of you here have already done such research and could save me some time.

Thanks!
The 86 trucks I've had were fairly thin where you grip the wheel, but look at a 70s era domestic, it's actually plastic with heavy gauge wire to support it which always cracks and falls apart, atleast for the oldsmobile ones.

If you want fat pad confey ones, check into car steering wheels, or even like a 95+ T100 (older might be the same idk). The T100 is very similar to the Camry ones, but it does have an airbag too.

As for exact fitment, that will take a little research and maybe measuring. I'd think the whole column might be interchangable to some extent since they mount very similar in different machines.
