coolant leak/transmission cooler question

coolant leak/transmission cooler question

hi my hilux recently started leaking and i cant tell where its coming from..

i removed the bash plate that cover's the automatic tranny cooler.. and i see coolant leaking either through or from the tranny cooler itself... and the cooler is slanted i see it drop all along the bottom edge.

i cant see any leaks from above the engine.

it leaks when the car is running a bit and also seems to leak a bit when the car is off.. leaks maybe half a litre a week or so if im driving it everyday..


so does anyone know if you can unbolt the tranny cooler and slide it out of the way or do you need to disconnect it???
should you be ablew to see the waterpump leak from the top or sides without dropping the cooler???
