Code 26 Lack of power problem
I've got a code 26 on my 4runner (22re 5spd) and my problem seems to happen anytime the truck gets wet. We had rain a few days ago and it acted up as always and now that its gotten cold, it's fine until the truck gets warm. I'm assuming there might be water somewhere that unthaws after the engine warms up and causes the truck to lack power until the rpms get up to 3000, then it takes right off. It bucks a little bit too once its running over 3000 rpm.
It lists the injector circuit, injector, fuel line pressure, cold start injector, air flow meter, ECU as the trouble areas.
What should I look at first based on the problems I have?
thanks

it could be your what you listed but it alos could be iginition related from what you have said sounds like water has gotten somewhere electrical and when it gets warm the water evaps when you put your plugs in did you put dielectric grease on your plug boots? if not water can get between the plug boots and plugs and cause misfireing but what you might want to do is to run a good fuel line antifreeze its cheap and a lil bit will go along way it will pull the moisture out of your fuel if that is your problem. check under the dis.cap you should have a rubber seal between it and the main body if you dont that could be another problem also check to make sure that all of your plug wires are on good.
