I wouldnt worry about it, i did the same thing. The most that will happen will they will get soft. Also, theres alot of air moving through that so its no biggy.

Gary, saw your other post about this also. I doubt it gets hot enough in that spot for that stuff to melt. Is that grey pipe from the plumbing dept too? I was looking around Home Depot at stuff for the ISR this weekend and saw pre-bent Grey PVC pipe just like that.
Did you use some of the stock intake tube right at the Throttle Body? How did you get the 90 degree fittings into the intake?
Do you feel any difference in power at all??

its electrical conduit pipe. i looked at home depot and they had up to 2 inch pipe. i then went to a speciality plumbing place called andrew sheret and i got a 3 inch diameter pipe about 40 inches long at least. i spent way too much 22 bucks and needed like 6 inches. after i cut it i noticed that the pipe doesnt have enough bend so i swore because i wasted 22 bucks and remembered that place had a pipe with a sharper bend which could have went in perfectly. i was like screw it then put the couplers on. to get the 90 degree pvc fitting into the intake, i drilled a large hole, over 3/4, stuck a grommet in it then sticked in the fitting. im going to seal it when i make a proper pvc intake and ditch the stock intake part. i hope the pipe will bend when i heat it up. the truck had some more pep to it and makes an awesome sound when i gun it .

Which part of the stock intake did you use? I see it up there on the Throttle Body, is it that part that was originally on the TB or was that the part that was on the MAF?
I just pulled a stock intake off a wrecked Runner, so I am trying ot figure out how to rig up an ISR with stoc intake tube parts, and possibly some of that electrical conduit. I saw that stuff at Home Depot too.
I was going to drill the intake and then thread it to get the 90 degree nipples in.

it was originally on the throttle body, i just turned it to the side. i bet threading it will keep a good seal with a dab of silicone, i didnt bother looking for a threaded fitting was too lazy. here is a pic i dont know how he got that 2.5 inch intake tube over the 3 inch pipe but im going to try that tomorrow and get rid of that extra coupler.
