Building a sleeping platform...

I do store the folding platform pieces in the garage. With help lifting it awkwardly out of the back it takes about a half hour because it has to be emptied and the top has to come of along with the roll bar. My top comes off easily because I built a lift for it. I thought about making mine fender well height also, but I decided to go taller to have more drawer space and also to make it level with the top of the rear seat cushions when folded down. Since I am 6'-1" I knew I needed just a little more length for the sleeping platform. Extending It over the seat cushions gave it the perfect length. I have tested it prior to finishing it. I slept on it for 4 nights for a family reunion. It worked beautifully!
